Antioxidant - Grape Skin Extract

This has led to a new field of research called vinotherapy as more scientists around the world are beginning to explore the benefits of grapes as detoxifiers, strong antioxidants and cell regenerators. Grape skin offers a convenient way for you to reap this fruit’s many healthy benefits.
Grape skin contains high concentrations of resveratrol and proanthocyanidins – two antioxidants thought to affect longevity. According to Northwestern University, the significant amounts of resveratrol present in grape skin have demonstrated potentially beneficial properties, including antioxidant, anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory and anticarcinogenic effects.
Researchers are also investigating grape skin’s ability to reduce platelet aggregation (clotting) in the blood, thereby reducing the risk of arteriosclerosis, stroke and heart attacks.

Antioxidant - Ellagic Acid
Ellagic acid is an antioxidant compound found in raspberries, strawberries, cranberries, walnuts, pecans, pomegranates, and other plant foods. Research in cell cultures and lab animals has found that ellagic acid may slow the growth of some cancerous tumors caused by certain carcinogens.
Several studies in lab animals have found that ellagic acid can inhibit the growth of skin, esophagus, lung, and other tumors caused by carcinogens. Other studies have also found positive effects. A recent study in cell cultures found that ellagic acid may act against substances that allow tumors to form new blood vessels.
